Have you seen the meme on Facebook where it says Adele's song, Hello, makes you miss people you don't even know?
That's my way of re-breaking the ice. I apologize for completely disappearing on everyone. It's been a super rough year. And I don't think I realized how much until the holidays rolled around. You see, I lost two very important people to me, my grandmother and a very close friend. And only 6 weeks apart, one only 2 days before my birthday.
Its always rough when that happens, but I think I thought I was dealing with it properly. Negative, Negative....situation normal!(Star Wars humor there....yes, I am one of them.) Not to mention the weird rift between me and my 3 best girls. Not bad, just unfamiliar. So its left me feeling pretty alone.
SO, just like millions of other people, I'm going to be turning over a new leaf as the new descends upon us.
It's time.
I'm going to start using this blog for all kinds of things now t help keep myself on track. Its the ADHD....which I also discovered I've had all these years. Like I said, its been a rough year.
One thing I've never mentioned on this blog, at least I don't think I have, is that I'm a certified fitness trainer. I studied hard over the summer, to finally do something with my life(one of those running away things....or a super family member is gone and I feel like I let them down things). I love fitness....I really do. But I struggle, just like everyone else, to keep up with it. I love how food is a symbiotic relationship....its all so fascinating to me. So, I will be hopping on that wagon again and blogging my research, results, all that good stuff about that.
I have NOT abandoned making own my stuff! Although I haven't been creating things on a daily basis like I was before, I am still using what I had already discovered worked! Such as my super amazing body moisturizer....I'm telling you, its the holy grail....I have friends that think so too! (wink, wink). I have a sore muscle bar that I created, one of the first things I created but never posted on here. One thing I had wanted to do is something that did what all these bars did but didn't have the smell. I hate the smell of tiger balm! Ever since I was a little girl, teenager(I danced for 15 years)....it burns my skin and my nose hairs. So I wanted something that got the job done, but with a more pleasant smell. I have a friend who des pilates regularly and my mother has fibromyalgia.....they both love it! I'll post that recipe soon! I have also made a soap....I'm super in love with this thing. I found a recipe on Pintrest that I twisted around a little. You're going to love it too!
So, I'm starting to get a little excited about turning a bad year into something better.
